What is Person Centred Therapy?

Person Centred Therapy was developed by Carl Rogers in the 1950's. The Therapy focuses on creating the strong trusting therapeutic relationship that brings about change for the client. It also believes that the client has the ability to become aware, heal and make the changes they want for themselves.

Person Centred Therapy is a popular and widely used approach to counselling and therapy.
Some of the outcomes of Person Centred Therapy can be:

• Making peace or gain understanding of the past, so that you can start living in the present

• Strengthening your self-esteem and self worth

• Improved relationships with yourself and others

• Better decision and choice making abilities regarding your life

  • I am trained as a laughter yoga leader and deliver sessions all over Glasgow.

Laughter Yoga

What is laughter yoga 🤣 🧘‍♀️ ?

A form of exercise and a way to practice well-being where we use laughter.
You can do whether you are happy or stressed.
It’s not actual yoga! It’s about laughter, breathing, movement and connection.

Laughter 🤣

We don’t laugh enough as adults, children laugh a lot more.
Adults intellectualise humour, we have forgotten spontaneous laughter.
The body can’t distinguish real from fake laughter, but we feel the same benefit(endorphins)
Fake it till you make it, and it becomes real.

Yoga 🧘‍♀️

Laughter, it’s about deep breathing
Its exercise

What are the benefits? 🧐

Reduce stress 🫀 🫁
Boost mood 🙏
Help relaxation 😎
Connect with others 👯 🫂
