Hello and thanks for clicking,

My name is Aileen and I am Person Centred Counsellor and Supervisor working in the Glasgow City and surrounding areas. I am also an experienced free-lance trainer and lecturer of counselling.

I am experienced at working with, but not limited to, the following issues:

Friendship difficulties

Family dynamic difficulties

Assertiveness

Loneliness and isolation

Change and transition in life

Anxiety and depression

LGBTQ+

(I do not work with couples or families)


My Qualifications and Memberships:

• BA in Social Sciences

• Diploma in Counselling

• Certificate in Sexual Minority Therapy

• COSCA Supervision Certificate

• I am also a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups).

I have completed shorter CPD courses on topics such as Attachment, Autism Awareness, Deaf Awareness, Cancer Awareness and Coaching and Mentoring.

Since qualifying, I have spent four years working as a Counsellor for both Crossreach, Glasgow and two years with the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual,Transgender (LGBT) Foundation, Manchester. Prior to my counselling career I was employed within the homeless sector and a Macmillan Cancer Support funded programme.

I have availability on Mondays to Fridays, various times 9-5.30pm. I see clients online via Zoom
or at West George Street, Glasgow City Centre.
